Free Form Freakout, a weekly program on KMSU-FM in Makato, MN, has just posted a mesmerizing podcast in which Seattle musician Norm Chambers — better known under his nom de synth, Panabrite — discusses his passion for library music, the seemingly bottomless pool of electronic mood music created almost anonymously for film, television and advertisements…for instance, work by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

The podcast is chock full of library-music examples and rich Panabrite cuts, including selections from a recent tape on Sicsic and a forthcoming LP on Digitalis. You’ll find a detailed playlist on the FFF website.
